Where can I get my saltwater fishing license?

Where can I get my saltwater fishing license?

Legal licenses for fishing may be purchased in a variety of places. The least expensive place would be Tax collectors offices. The reason they cost less at the tax collector’s office is that there is no fee associated with buying this license. If you purchase from bait and tackle shops or retailers such as WalMart, Kmart, Sports Authority, and Bass Pro Shops, etc., you will be charged a fee for their handling the transaction. The fees are normally nominal, but they do vary from place to place. Instant licenses may also be purchased online or via the telephone if you wish to use a credit card, but there are usually small fees attached to that as well. Remember license requirements are different depending on the area in which you are planning to fish as are the cost and requirements for out of state fishing permits. Even if you have a freshwater license to fish, chances are you are going to need a saltwater license as well. In most states, youth under age 16 are not required by law to have a fishing license. In most states there are special permanent licenses for senior citizens as well. Non fishermen are not required to have a license even if they are in the boat where fishing is taking place. Just be sure to understand that a non-fishing boater may not do anything at all to assist the fishermen on the boat, or they are required to have their own fishing license. This includes baiting hooks, taking fish off hooks, helping net fish…any activity related to fishing is prohibited unless you have a fishing license. I can’t believe I forgot to let you know about this night fishing information. It has to do with an “evening secret“. Check it out.
