Try to resist fishing moving schools of tuna. They are simply going to
outrun you, and they just do not bite well when they are on the move
like that.Look for hags (shearwaters). They can be sitting on the water
or flying, but as long as they are there, something is about to take
place and there are going to be some tuna in the area.
Consider using detachable stingers. It is much easier to change sizes
and colors if you use detachable stingers. Definitely worth your
investment and they ar easy enough to useand benefit from.
Try using birds in your spreader bars, because the birds fly and rotate
better, which camouflages it better making it look like busting bait. It
also does not plow like some other presentations will.
Above all, don't be scared to experiment. Fishing is always a trial and
error endeavor and tuna fishing is no exception to that rule. If you
know tuna are in the area, and you are not having any luck, keep making
changes until you do.
Happy Fishing!
