Many anglers will tell you that they use this or they use that, but this one thing remains true, you use what works the best for you. Just because on lure works for Joe, does not mean that you are presenting it the same way and it may not work for you. Live bait will work just as well as artificial lures as long as your presentation is good. Take the time to experiment with different lures to see what works the best. Many of the lures do not cost much, so it is easy to buy a few and try them out to see if they will work.
 
Find some god techniques to use and you can catch a flounder with almost any lure you have in your tackle box. Take the time to experiment and you will find something that works the best. A lure is not lure unless the angler knows the technique needed to find catch and walk away with a few fish. Try some of the flounder pounders or try some old fashion lures from you local sporting goods stores and see which works the best. You will have a good day of fishing with the lure that works the best for you.
