I live in North Carolina, and I just got a Kayak for my birthday. I’m a long time fishermen, and want to try to fish in my Kayak. Anything I should look out for, and any techniques you’d suggest?

Hi Dan I love your site and I just joined. i took a female friend fishing two weekends in a row but she was the only one that cought any thing! She cought an 18 in bat ray and a 25 lb starfish! We are fishing of of a pier in San Luis CA and i dont know anything about salt water fishing. Hi Dan, I sent this question to George Poveromo and Jose Wejebe, but they did not respond.- I reef fish in 30′-40′ depth for white grunts, gag grouper, red grouper, and black sea bass. Will the hum/noise of a constantly filling/circulating livewell affect how well the fish bite? Thanks, Scott
