Tips

Early Fall: Trout on Croakers and pumpkinseed Bass Assassins, Norton Sand Eels, and Hogies.  Look around the North Jetty for good results.

Move offshore and target Kingfish, amberjack, red snapper, and Dorado.

Bait your hook with shrimp and fish for redfish or trout on the jetty too.

Ling, amberjack, kingfish, and tuna are also promising offshore!

Summer: Trout on live bait at the jetty, shark on finger mullet there.

Offshore is good for ling, snapper, wahoo, and kingfish.

Winter: Trout and redfish on topwaters near the East Flats, or fish under a popping cork with live shrimp.  Use redkillers and tandem rig fresh, dead shrimp along the drop offs to fish for trout!
